Creepy, but lacking.

The production value is top notch. As you walk up the stairs into The Attic it is very eerie. A lot of antiques around the room that really add to the story of some old dude and some ghost children running around. I liked the story. There were some cool sound effects and the lighting is very dim. It really sets the mood for the whole experience.
Even though the production value is great, I didn’t feel immersed into the game. I just felt thrown into a creepy looking room and was immediately just taking things apart for no reason at all. There could have been many things done to get us immersed into the environment.
The puzzles is what I had a problem with the most. There was no flow to the puzzles at all. We could all be working on 4 or 5 puzzles at the same time not knowing we need to finish other puzzles before working on others. Also, when we solve some puzzles, we would have no idea that we solved the puzzle correctly. A door would be unlocked when we solve the puzzle but we would have no idea that it is unlocked. Or a light would go on in another room and we wouldn’t know. The most frustrating puzzle was the one with the magnet. The magnet was weak so it took us about 30 minutes to complete it. When we completed the puzzle and got the key, nothing happened because we found the secret box the key was for earlier in the game. It would have been nice for them to tell us we were wasting our time.
Customer service was ok. They were accommodating but they were not very enthusiastic and they did not seem to know the room and the puzzles so well.
I would give this place a 6/10.
